These castors are for the Ergohuman Chairs with a STRAIGHT STARBASE.: Ergohuman, Ergohuman Elite, Ergohuman Classic and Ergohuman Previous model, If your Ergohuman Chair has a curved starbase, please order Ergohuman Plus Castors.
Please note that the new Ergohuman castors are all black. If you chair was bought several years ago, you may have the old model castors with the silver metal part between the wheels, these are now discontinued. The new castors can be used in conjunction with the old castors, so you may replace them gradually as required.
Carpet or Hard-floor?
The Ergohuman wheels or castors are “semi-soft” rubber and suitable for dual use on either carpet or hard floor.

How do I replace the Ergohuman castors?
The Ergohuman castors (or Ergohuman Elite castors ) are very easy to replace. just pull them out and insert the new ones. It is a “push-fit” system where the ring will contract when pushed in the star-base and expand once inserted. You could use bubble wrap or a cloth to make it easier on the palm of your hands.
How do I know which castors to order for my chair?
If you are not sure if your chair is Ergohuman, Ergohuman Elite or Ergohuman Plus, there is no need to worry!
Once we receive your order, we will ask you to email us a photo of your chair showing the whole chair from the front. This will help us identify your specific chair model and ensure we send the correct castors. We will only dispatch the parcel once we are sure the castors will fit your chair. All castors are the same price. You can order the ones you think match best, and rest assured we will make sure you receive the correct set of Ergohuman wheels.
Once ordered, when will I receive the parcel?
We dispatch small parcels once a week, usually on Thursdays for Friday delivery. Some weeks, delivery is brought forward to a Wednesday dispatch for Thursday delivery. Deliveries are handled by DPD courier; once your parcel is collected, we will send you the DPD tracking details and monitor its progress to keep you updated as necessary. If your contact number is a mobile phone, you should receive a text from DPD as well, which will give you more control to manage your delivery. (Most deliveries arrive the day after dispatch, however deliveries to some areas of Scotland or remote areas may need longer to arrive.)

Can I order a single castor?
Usually when one castor shows some wear and tear, the others will soon follow. For this reason we tend to only supply castors in full sets. Considering the cost of delivering by courier, it would not be economical for you to order one castor at a time. In most cases the new castor set will be the exact same size wheels as the old one – you could replace the castors gradually as needed.
