How do I replace the Ergohuman Plus armpads?
The Ergohuman Plus armpads are very easy to replace. If you look or feel underneath, you will find some small screws around the armpad. Just unscrew these to lift off the old Ergohuman armpads and replace them with the new ones.
How can I make the Ergohuman Plus armpads last as long as possible?
When you get up from the chair and swivel it, the seat height may rise slightly while the chair is rotated, potentially trapping one of the armrest under the desktop. When the chair goes up, the armrest can get stuck under the desk. This puts pressure on the foam of the armpad and, over time, causes wear and tear to the rubber material. If your armrests sit lower than your desk, it is best to slide away from the desk before standing up.
How do I know which armpads to order for my chair?
Don’t worry! Once we receive your order, we will ask you to email us a photo of your chair from the front. This will help us identify your specific Ergohuman Plus chair model and ensure we send the correct armpads. We will only dispatch the parcel once we are sure the armpads will fit your chair. All armpads are the same price (with the exception of the front armpads for the previous model pre-2010, which look distinctively different). You can order the ones you think match best, and rest assured we will make sure you receive the correct set.
Tip: The Ergohuman Plus or Ergohuman Plus Luxury armpads are smooth on top ( unlike the Ergohuman Elite armpads which have grooves on the top edges )
I am not sure if I need Ergohuman Plus armpads or Ergohuman Plus armrests, what is the difference?
Armpads are the soft rubber part component of the armrest. If the armrest is still adjustable as normal and the top layer is worn then all you need is the armpads. You would only order a complete armrest if the armrest itself is broken or has lost its adjustability. The armpads are cheaper than the armrests.
Is my chair Ergohuman Plus or Ergohuman Plus Luxury or Ergohuman Luxury and does this impact on the type of armpads that will fit?
All of these chairs are the same and use the same armpads: the Ergohuman Plus armpads. The Ergohuman Plus has been manufactured up to summer 2023.
Once we have received your order and emailed you to send a photo, we will be able to identify your chair model so that we send you the correct armpads for your Ergohuman chair.
Once ordered, when will I receive the parcel?
We dispatch small parcels once a week, usually on Thursdays for Friday delivery. Some weeks, delivery is brought forward to a Wednesday dispatch for Thursday delivery. Deliveries are handled by DPD courier; once your parcel is collected, we will send you the DPD tracking details and monitor its progress to keep you updated as necessary. If your contact number is a mobile phone, you should receive a text from DPD as well, which will give you more control to manage your delivery. (Most deliveries arrive the day after dispatch, however deliveries to some areas of Scotland or remote areas may need longer to arrive.)

Can I order a single armpad? are the Ergohuman Plus armpads sided?
Usually when one armpad shows some wear and tear, the other one will soon follow. For this reason we tend to only supply armpads in pairs. Considering the cost of delivering by courier, it would not be economical for you to order a single armpad at a time. However if one of your old armpad still looks good, you could replace one first and keep the other armpad for future use. Please note that the Ergohuman armpads are sided, you will receive a left handed armpad and a right handed armpad.
