RECLINING OFFICE CHAIR FAQ
Can the chair(s) recline back?
All the chairs shown on the website can recline back. If you wish to have your legs supported when you recline, most of the chairs are available with leg rest that can be folded out when needed.
How many reclining positions?
There are 4 reclining positions including the upright position: “Upright”, Slight Recline, Mid Recline, Full Recline. The “upright” position also has a slight recline for best comfort. When the back of the chair is fully reclined the seat tilts back which increases the overall reclining angle.
How do I recline the chair?
To recline the chair while sitting simply reach on the right side of the seat and pull the single lever control completely backward and lean against the backrest until a desired angle is achieved. Then return the lever to its original middle position to lock the back at an ideal angle.
RECLINING OFFICE CHAIR WITH LEG REST FAQ
I would like a chair with a leg rest, what are my options?
All chairs can have a leg rest, however the models that tend to be available from stock with leg rest are Ergohuman and Ergohuman Plus, Enjoy and some of the Mirus and Nefil office chairs.
Can I order a chair first and a leg rest at a later date?
The leg rest is factory fitted so you would need to order the chair with the leg rest to have this option.
Will the leg rest be in the way when I work at a desk?
When not in use the legrest is folded under the seat base.
When would I need to use a leg rest?
Leg rests are increasingly popular in offices, open plan offices, as well as for the home office, for students, in modular living spaces, and for online gaming activities or internet browsing. With a leg rest you will be able to stretch your legs and have them supported when you recline back for instance when watching presentations, showreels, videos or films.
Do I need a leg rest if I order a notebook arm?
Yes, unless you already have a standalone leg support stool, it would be logical to have a leg rest if you have a notebook arm in order to use your computer / tablet in the recline position, as this would give you the support if you wish to extend your legs.
I need a leather chair with a leg rest, is the leg rest available in leather?
The leg rest is only available in mesh, leather chairs with leg rest are in full leather, except for the leg rest element which is in mesh. Chairs with a leather seat and mesh backrest ordered with leg rest also have a leg rest in mesh fabric.
I am left-handed, will I be able to open the leg rest easily?
Yes, the latest version of the leg rest can be unfolded from either side.
RECLINING OFFICE CHAIR WITH NOTEBOOK ARM,
LAPTOP TABLE / LAPTOP STAND FAQ
Can I order a chair and a notebook arm or laptop table at a later date?
This component can be ordered with the chair or later, however it is cheaper to order it with the chair as you will save on delivery charges.
Can the notebook arm or laptop table support any size notebook / laptop?
The platform of the notebook arm is 21 x 29.50 cm (almost the same size as an A4 paper) so it is suitable for small laptops or ipads. There are clips on the sides that will secure the notebook and slightly extend the supporting area to a maximum of 36cm width. There is no lip at the back of the support table therefore a slightly bigger laptop than the table dimensions will fit the area. Please note that it may not be suitable for some of the heavier or bigger laptops. Contact us to check a specific laptop size.
Will the notebook arm be in the way when I work at a desk?
You can fold the notebook arm to the side of the chair so that it is out of the way as needed.
